SIMBA YA MAZULU ... "lion from Heavens" in my native kikongo language.

African native indeed, my love of rhodesian ridgeback dogs was born when meeting in 1993 in California with a male puppy of this race : SATCHEL. I felt in love at first sight! Typified, Satchel, small 2 month old puppy at the time, conquered my heart by its bravery, its majesty and its dignity.

Satchel died years later at 14.5 years of age…

My passion of Rhodesian ridgeback dogs had been born and was not any more to leave me! only one requirement: to privilege the African lines to bring me closer to my own origins. Not a ridgeback dog to be kept only as a pet indoors but a robust, sharp and enduring outdoor dog.

In 2003, entered temporarily into my life another 2 month old male that I was about to educate before having it leave at  9 month old to  join its owner. That separation broke my heart. Extraordinary male: MUTANGAMIRE U' Samba… (Bitch: MUTANGAMIRE Shona ZKC 18092 /Stud : SHANGANI PANSA DAFINA LOF 1063)

U' Samba, which became a large male of 55 kg, lives with its owner in East of France at the Franco-German border.

In 2004 finally arrived a marvellous 2 month old bitch: SHANGANI VOYA MAKEBA from breeders Mr. and Mrs. Blumberg (SHANGANI)… SANGANI VOYA MAKEBA  : My soul mate, my princess has who it arrived many adventures, a bitch which has followed me everywhere in my tours and which with me ended up posing its luggage in Corsica… a new life! Voya lifes now in a peaceful environment, surrounded by nature, children and other animals : dogs (3 jagd terrier and 1 male part bred Blue Gascon), cats, 6 horses and ponies.

june  2009 Voya was covered by  INDULE BONZO ASALI
